A Different Kind of Salsa

by dbthehype

Having been born a Colombian native, I am plenty familiar with Salsa music. I remember all of my uncles coming over on the weekend to blast Salsa until the wee hours of the morning, while enjoying some Aguardiente. I can sing along to tons of songs just because I was around them for so long. However, These are not your parents Salsa jams, but can certainly be yours. The Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra is unlike any other. The eclectic bunch is comprised of an 11-piece group who create really fun arrangements of their favorite indie rock songs. Below are some samples of what this talented group has to offer. Their next free show is Friday, January 31st @ 6pm at Brooklyn Night Bazaar. For more info please visit WSO.
