And Then There Were None

After nearly two decades of outstanding talent and sportsmanship, the beloved Captain of the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter will finally lay his bat and helmet to rest. The conclusion of the 2014 baseball season will be a bittersweet one, as we bid farewell to the remaining member of the core four and a brilliant athlete we can all learn something from. His dedication day in and day out on the field along with the pride with which he wears those pinstripes is beyond admirable. I consider myself lucky to have witnessed such an incredible athlete who will surely be remembered in the ranks of Babe Ruth. The Captain will be missed greatly but all good things must come to an end. Below is the letter posted on his Facebook page.
